Typing Certificate

We offer a professional Typing Certification Exam designed to provide a rigorous benchmark of your keyboarding skills. Our certificate highlights 3 metrics: typing speed in WPM, accuracy percentage, and assessment duration. Most common durations are for 3 minutes and 5 minutes.

Fee: Exam fee is $30 (which includes 1 retake). Please note that same-day retakes are limited to one attempt only. For any further testing, you must reschedule for another day.

Grading criteria: Using the backspace key or typing a wrong character is considered a penalty and will impact your final accuracy. If no backspace is pressed and all words were typed correctly, it will result in 100% accuracy.

As typing requirements may vary across agencies, before you schedule your exam, please confirm with your employer, if they will be ok accepting our certificate. Taking this step ensures our typing certificate aligns with your employer's criteria and it helps your application move forward smoothly. We do not proctor remote exams.
